| Who We Are? |
Global Institute for Childhood Disability (GICD) is a secular NGO formed in May 2005 with four children. GICD emphasize the concept of providing a complete home environment at the school, where children could regain their lost childhood and learn to live in society in a acceptable way. GICD believes in Comprehensive, Multidimensional and an Integrated approach to work with children of Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities.
The Global Institute for Childhood Disability (GICD), the only one of its kind in Northern India provides physiotherapy, occupational therapy, neurotherapy, speech, audiology and special education under one roof for Cerebral Palsy and Autism Children. In a short span of 9 years, we have developed infrastructure for Autism Children, Sense Integration Therapy and Occupational Therapy for Cerebral Palsy Children. Thousands of children have benefitted from the treatment from the OPD Centre.
We have on our panel Senior Pediatricians, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Pediatric Neurologists, Child Psychologists, Eye Specialists, ENT Specialists, Dental Specialists, Ocuupational Therapists
and Pediatric Therapists. |
